1. Information We Collect

Account Information

Remixie requires a signed-in account. You can sign in using Apple, Google, or email. We process the account information needed to sign you in and maintain your account, such as your email address, information returned by your sign-in provider, authentication tokens, and an internal account identifier. We do not receive your Apple or Google password.

We use your account identifier to associate service usage, subscriptions, purchases, and account-related activity with your account.

Projects, Media, and Editing Requests

Remixie lets you import media, edit videos, record voiceovers, create captions, and request AI-assisted edits.

Your projects and imported media are stored on your device. Remixie does not provide a server-hosted project library or save generated images or videos to an online gallery. Importing a file does not by itself upload your entire project or photo library. When you choose features that require online processing, we process the information needed for those features, which may include:

• Audio extracted from selected media for transcription and caption generation.
• Recorded editing instructions and text instructions you enter.
• Transcripts, word timings, captions, and title text needed to understand or perform a requested edit.
• Selected reference images or video frames used for a request.
• Relevant project structure, clip references, timing information, and editing settings.
• The responses needed to complete the request, such as transcripts, suggested edits, and caption-emphasis suggestions.

For example, creating captions sends audio for transcription, and AI-assisted editing may send your instructions, transcript, or relevant project context. This processing does not create a cloud copy of your project. Remixie edits your selected media; it does not offer AI image or video generation.

Media and requests can contain personal information about you or others. Only provide content you have the right to use and share.

Purchases, Subscriptions, and Usage

Apple processes in-app payments. We and our purchase-service providers receive information such as product identifiers, transaction identifiers, purchase and subscription status, renewal or refund information, and usage allowances. We do not receive your complete payment card number from Apple.
